Minneapolis Skyline print – 8×8″
This city is home. The death of George Floyd was a tragedy that our city was responsible for this summer. His death and countless others will not be forgotten, you can be sure of that; I’m proud of the unity that our community has shown in these tough months and continued tough times since that tragic day, coming together to remember George and the countless other lives lost across the country due to the broken system.
I have always believed that Minneapolis is a place of acceptance – a place of love for all people and colors and identities and orientations; a place that promotes diversity and welcomes all. That’s the Minneapolis I know and what I know so many people are advocating for – with peaceful protests and using our voices to accept nothing less than the characteristics listed above.
Above all things – L O V E. This is the city I love, the city that is home. The city that will continue to demand change and justice, love and equality. We need peace and humanity between all people, especially now ?
